GamePLAI, an AI-powered sports forecasting company that specializes in microbetting, has secured an investment of about $1.9M (£1.5M) from a group including Marco Blume, the former trading director of online sportsbook Pinnacle (formerly Pinnacle Sports).

The new financing will support GamePLAI’s planned initiatives over the next 12 months ahead of Copa America and Euro 2024, which include launching a soccer and basketball-focused player prop product and adding to its existing microbetting solution. Founded in 2022, London-based GamePLAI is a graduate of both Techstars and Sportradar’s startup accelerator programs, the former of which included a $120K investment.
